Lynn Allen from the Multicultural Center came to Holmes on November 7th and 10th to give presentations on Hispanic heritage and culture. Students learned about important contributions of Hispanic Americans to our culture and were also able to view up close cultural artifacts. Hispanic art, music, and food were all highlighted. Students had fun playing traditional musical instruments, viewing intricately designed masks, guessing Spanish labels of foods, and more.
